We are here for the safety and to protect the well-being of those who reside, visit and travel through our district.

Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 10 was established in 2008 by the voters of Eastern Bexar County in the Gardendale VFD response area. Bexar County ESD No. 10 contracted with Gardendale VFD until 2014 when the District started its own Department. The district is governed by a board of 5 commissioners.  They must be residents or own property in their district. The commissioners gather once a month at a public meeting to review the budget, request and activities of the Emergency Services District.

 

Bexar County ESD 10 covers three (3) areas of un-incorporated Bexar County. We are located on the east side of Bexar County & currently operate out of four fire stations. We have a uniformed staff of 25 paid firefighters, 17 paid officers and about 5 volunteer firefighters. We run approximately 7000 calls annually for both Fire & First Responder Services.
